Partisan balberdash

What kind of idiots does the president think he's talking to in this absurd, patently political assertion. This is excuse-making to the point of being utterly ridiculous.

Dave said...: Maybe a lot of politicians speak deliberately to the ill-informed, but there are also a lot of informed people out there too who don't think much of such deceptive talk. Also, it is one thing for a "common politician" who's looking for votes to stray from the truth, but this was the POTUS. He is supposed to be speaking to the whole nation, not just the ill-informed. I can't think of one example of a president in the past 60 years telling a string of outright lies such as the current president has done. The only clear example of an out and out lie I can think of is, "I didn't have a sexual relationship with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky."; November 21, 2013 at 5:09 PM
