An example of a "true Muslim."

This is the mind-set we are up against. By "we" I mean the West. Eventually it will move against the East too. But for now, we are the target.

If the link above does not work, cut and paste this one.

what's the difference?

However, it is good to know that the zealots over there seem to be concerned about the press in some middle eastern area having a more moderate attitude.

You do know who runs Memritv don't ya?

Tom, if you can't tell the difference between a strategic strike against nuclear facilities and the mass murder of 300,000 people, you need your head examined. And of course there are plenty of "moderate" Muslims, probably lots of them in the press corps. My point is, the guy in the video is a true Muslim, and there is no talking and no appeasement that will ever get him or his ilk to change the way they think. The only thing that has ever stopped the Islamic armies is superior military force.

So far as I know MEMRI was started by a couple of Israelis.

I can tell the difference. Can they? Talk is cheap. Nobody will ever get Pamela Gellar or that Spencer guy to change their thinking either. Are you wanting us to just nuke them all like some commenter on that tangle.com page suggested? Do we just let the religious wars continue to infamy since both the Islamists and the Christians seem to need an enemy in order to grow.

Tom, there is absolutely NO parity between Christianity and Islam. Jesus sent His disciples out to conquer the world through preaching (see Mark 16:15-16). Muhammad sent his disciples out to conquer the world through military conquest. Both Islam and Christianity have their enemies, but neither need an enemy to grow. In fact, in both cases the enemies are the obstacles to growth. The difference is, the enemies of Islam are all non-Islamic people whereas the enemies of Christianity are not people at all, they are the spiritual forces of evil (see Ephesians 6:10-20). Osama bin Laden recently stated again that everyone on earth must either bow to Allah or be killed. Like it or not, this is Islamic doctrine. This is the teaching of the Quran. But it is most definitely NOT the teaching of the Bible. Christian doctrine teaches that those who do not obey the gospel are to be left alone, to one day be judged by God Himself.

I've never heard anyone suggest that all Muslims be nuked. But Muslim aggression must be opposed with strong military force. Throughout history, that has been the ONLY thing that has stopped the march of the Islamic armies.
