TJ's insight on the two universal parties
Men by there constitutions are naturally divided into two parties: (1) Those who fear and distrust the people, and wish to draw all powers from them into the hands of the higher classes. (2) Those who identify themselves with the people, have confidence in them, cherish and consider them as the most honest and safe, although not the most wise depository of the public interests. In every country these two parties exist; and in every one where they are free to think, speak, and write, they will declare themselves.

I hope they'll straighten this unacceptable mess out. The American people just won't stand for a bunch of privileged NCAA officials make decisions that rightfully belong in the hands of Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, et al.
And while they're getting our circus privileges fixed, I sure hope they'll also increase our bread rations.
The sad things about this is that one of the prime movers is Orin Hatch. He's just such a fan of college football. But wait, what about NCAA basketball!
