Back in the USSR

"Why don't you just fire the CEO's of those failed banks?" asks cub reporter Terry Moran of Premier Stalin, uh, I mean President Obama. Apparently Mr. Moran believes we are living in the USSR. I doubt if even Putin has the authority to fire a corporate CEO (have him imprisoned or murdered yes, but fire him no).

Beautiful. What a genius. No doubt a product of our wonderful public education system. Obama must be thinking, "Wow; it's better than my wildest, coke-hazed dreams!"

Let me remind you that Terry Moran is the "reporter" who blogged - after the three Duke students accused of rape were vindicated and an evil democrat prosecutor was exposed as a flesh and blood embodiment of the devil - it was Terry Moran who blogged that we really shouldn't feel too sorry for those Duke students because, while they may have been technically innocent of the specific charges, they were guilty of being part of a privileged caste and more or less deserved to be dragged through hell juist on principle.
Stay classy, Terry.
Hey, as a trained professional who has worked in the field, I have absolutely zero respect left for our mainstream media. Indeed, one can hardly blame politicians for being partisan, for being ideological, for having a world view and running for office in an attempt to see that view realized. That's what this country is all about. But the modern media shouldn't be in the tank for any one viewpoint. That's a betrayal of their trust, their profession, and, yes, their country.
